The Taanab System is the capital of the Zeemacht Cluster. Eight planets orbit a single star, Tive, to make up the system. While the majority of the system's planets are largely uninhabited, the parts of the system that are inhabited have come to be the centers of political power in the Trade Federation. Taanab the planet from which the system takes its name, is home to the capital of the Federation, Forsetti, and Taum Reese supplies much of the system and sector with food. The other planets are gas giants which host limited mining and colonizing operations , but developers continue to eye them as more and more power and wealth become solidified elsewhere in the system.
