History
Early Life
Jack was born on Hapes Prime, the capital planet of the Hapes Consoritum. His parents, David and Samantha Hildor, were both government employees working within the Ministry of Finance.
From an early age, an emphasis was placed on Jack's education. At first, he was sent to All Souls -- a pre-school run by the Order of Kampar. There, Jack was taught the essential skills of reading, writing, and mathematics.
Parents' Deaths
At the age of six, Jack's life took an unfortunate turn for the worse. One night returning from the Ministry of Finance, the V-00 Rover his parents were in was broadsided by an EddicusClass Planetary Shuttle. Both of his parents were killed instantly, and the pilot of the shuttle was never caught.
Fortunately, one of his parents' closest friends, Corey Kylani, agreed to take Jack in. At the time, Corey was the Vice-President of Galindas Exports, and he treated Jack as one of his own children, including sending him to the Hapes Private Institution for Boys. This education allowed Jack to score a near-perfect 2380 on the GSATs (Galactic Scholastic Assessment Test). That, combined with his excellent school records ensured Jack a place in the next group of Hapes Government interns. However, Jack longed for something different, and instead used his savings to purchase a ticket to the Centrality Sector where he came into contact with a Trade Federation recruiter, Tarc Drathul. The TF's offer sounded fair and exciting to Jack, so he enlisted as a recruit in the Ministry of Defense.
Ministry of Defense
Jack was initially assigned to the 1st Task Force of the Vinsoth Fleet. During this time, Jack's immediate superior was Randy Nightwalker, and his fleet CO was Sol Keoma. Jack served in the Vinsoth Fleet for several months steadily climbing the ranks until Sol was promoted to Fleet Admiral, and Randy was promoted to Vinsoth Fleet CO.
Randy was a demanding but fair boss, and Jack learned a great deal under his tutelage. Over the next five months, Jack put in long hours and worked to make the Visoth Fleet the best fleet in the navy.
Jack's hard work paid off as following Randy's promotion to Fleet Admiral, Jack was promoted to the rank of C-3 Prefect and given command of the Vinsoth Fleet's 1st Task Force. His new boss was Legate Jack Sparrowe.
It was during this time that Jack really shined. He was awarded a 1st Fleet Veteran's medal continued standout performance. He also participated in the first ever joint Galactic Empire / Trade Federation military exercise. Jack commanded the Trade Federation's naval forces in the Empress Teta system during the exercise, and returned home victorious, having defeated Fleet Admiral Nightwalker who had been posing as the commander of enemy forces. Jack's career seemed to have nowhere to go but up.
Department of Culture
Unfortunately, things don't always go according to plan. Upon Jack's return to Vinsoth, his Bayonet Class Cruiser experienced engine troubles when reverting back from hyperspace travel. One of the cruiser's engine's exploded, and Jack, who happened to be in the auxiliary bridge at the time, was caught in the explosion.
When Jack next awoke, it was in the Med Tech Industries' intensive care unit. He was informed that a metal bolt had loved in his head, and that although experimental surgery had been able to save his life, the placement of the bolt meant that further surgery was highly risky, and he would no longer be able to serve on active duty with the Ministry of Defense.
Jack was crushed, with his career seemingly at an end, but he then heard the news that the previous Director of Culture had resigned, and that the position was now open. Figuring he had nothing to lose, Jack applied for the spot. Five days later, it was official, and Jack was the new Acting Director of Culture. Although, he only held the rank of Deputy-Director, he had all the responsibilities and privileges of a full director.
One of Jack's first tasks was to fill his department as it had been completely purged prior to his appointment. Jack's first move was to hire Director of Logistics Nohv Schiller as a consultant. He then hired writers Alex Track, Dominic Masters, Ashley Perkins, and Tal Ercrow. Together, they created the first ever Trade Federation newsletter, The Confederate Ledger, a publication that exists to this day under the name The Federation Ledger. Jack's career seemed to have righted itself.
Return to the MoD
Up until that point, Jack's life and career seemed to have followed Murphy's Law. If something can go wrong, it will -- and so things did again for Jack.
The night after the first edition of The Confederate Ledger was published, Jack was returning home from the party his department had thrown. However, while ascending the steps to his house, he slipped on the wet surface and slammed his head on the ground, losing consciousness.
When he awoke, it was once again in the MedTech Industries intensive care unit. This time, he was greeted personally by MTI CEO Toran Slisik who jovially informed him that somehow the metal bolt in his brain had been moved upon impact with the ground, and that MTI's surgeons had been able to remove it, releasing the pressure on his brain, and removing any limitations on Jack's activities and employment. However, Toran also informed Jack that he had been in a coma for the past two months, and that during that time, his Editor-in-Chief, Dominic Masters, had been appointed Director in his absence. Broken yet again, Jack went job-hunting.
For once, a job found Jack, rather than the other way around.
Shortly after his release from the hospital, Jack's old friend, former Commander of the Army, and newly-minted Minister of Defense, Kage Renbukai contacted him. It appeared that Kage was having an issue with a lack of qualified Fleet Commanders. Kage offered Jack the position of Centrality Sector Fleet Commander and Jack instantly accepted.
Jack's first three months in command were relatively smooth, but he ran into turbulence when his boss, Fleet Admiral Nightwalker went absent without leave. A replacement was not immediately appointed, and both Jack and Glythe Sector Fleet Commander Cyern Mora both ran into difficulties regarding the chain of command. A few months later, after clashing several times with Minister Renbukai, Jack felt that he could better serve the Trade Federation outside of the Ministry of Defense.
Department of Admissions
Jack ultimately transferred to the Department of Admissions where he worked both as a recruiter, and as an admissions officer, processing and training cadets ad they advanced through the Trade Federation Academy.
Jack remained with the Department of Admissions for over a year, the first time he had had any real job stability. At the end of his first year, his former Editor-In-Chief, Dominic Masters, promoted Jack to Director of Admissions, and gave him full reign over the department.
It was at this time that the Trade Federation underwent a major reorganization, with the TF's nationalized factions being converted to departments directly under the Trade Federation umbrella. Jack then spearheaded the effort to combine what had previously been 5 different and completely separate recruitment processes into one streamlined procedure.
Jack continued in his role as Director for another 6 months, but over time felt that things were becoming a little monotonous, found that it was becoming harder and harder for him to remain focused on his job. He contemplated resigning from his post, but decided to hold off. However, when his old friend Dominic Masters resigned from the Ministry of State, Jack decided he could hold on no longer, and resigned from the Trade Federation.
Galactic Empire
For the first time in three and a half years, Jack was no longer a member of the Trade Federation. Many people would have felt lost, but Jack knew exactly what he had to do -- find a job that would motivate him.
He decided to return to his roots -- the military, and enlisted in the Imperial Navy. He felt that the Empire's strong chain of command would suit him well.
Jack initially insisted as a Recruit, but was promoted to Flight Corporal following his exemplary performance in Basic Flight School, and assigned to the 11th Heavy Assault Group of the 5th Imperial Fleet. His superiors were his CO Commander Rysati Oronar, and his XO Lieutenant Kent Amba.
Jack turned in consistent performances for the next few months and his reliability was noticed as he was promoted to Master Flight Sergeant, and appointed as the 5th Fleet Signals Officer. Jack served as signals officer through a number of different fleet commanders including Zhaff Orikan, Faol Sean, Rurra Ralk`bun, and Zeige Shadar.
Eventually, however, the Empire's policy of protocol began to wear on Jack -- it was completely different from the Trade Federation's laid back, easygoing environment, and in Jack's opinion, did nothing but fester a hierarchy built on arrogance and superiority. Ultimately, Jack decided to leave and return home, to the Trade Federation.
Return to the Trade Federation
There was only one logical place for Jack to go -- the Trade Federation. Upon his return, he was contacted by his old friend and current Minister of Defense Xavier Hood. Xavier explained his plans for re-structuring the Federation Security Service, and given Jack's extensive military experience, wanted him to be a member. Jack agreed and was assigned to the Orus Sector Fleet for the time being.
Evocati Order
Jack initially participated in the Joint Department Operation (JDO) under Jezebel Ivanova, but she then sent him for a Force test, as he had not been tested in several years. Jack was tested by Evocati Lord Alan Arcane who informed him that he was not sensitive to the Force, and sent him back to work. However, several days later, Jack was messaged by another Evocati Lord, Duceroy Olwin Froon, and informed that he was in fact Force Sensitive, and that he would begin training immediately.
Jack was paired with Master Dagur Amon and the two formed a formidable pair with Jack advancing to the rank of Knight in under two months, and his training culminating in Jack's revelation to the general public as a member of the Evocati Order. At this point, the two parted ways, though they anticipate reuniting to continue Jack's training.
Federation Security Service
Following his revelation as a public member of the Evocati Order, Jack returned to the Ministry of Defense and transferred to the Federation Security Service as a FSS-Lieutenant. He served there under FSS CO FSS-Major Jezebel Saruh Ivanova, and eventually became FSS CO himself before stepping down.
