Description
The icy expanse of Hassaria IV is largely uninhabitable due to its toxic atmosphere, making travel outside of shelter extremely dangerous. The unforgiving nature of the planet has made its population extremely resilient and resourceful. The local domiciles are expertly crafted domes that completely seal out the toxic atmosphere and battle the surrounding cold, with larger settlements completely covered or buried underground to avoid any contact with the extreme temperatures.
Due to the gravitational effects of its abnormal orbit, massive sections of its subterranean frozen oceans thaw and remain below the surface at high pressures. Deep in the planet's largest impact crater the crust has been breached in the form of a deep fissure. This fissure has been observed to spew its slurry into the toxic atmosphere in an impressive plume which solidifies nearly instantly due to the subfreezing temperatures into a fine spray of ice and snow. Most of this plume then gently falls back to the surface while a small percentage of it gets caught up in wind currents. While such eruptions are irregular in size and frequency, the largest recorded plume spanned three hundred meters.
Despite the harsh climate, Hassaria IV is home to the largest colony of Arkanian off-shoots in the galaxy, outside of Arkania itself. The icy likeness of Hassaria IV to the planet Arkania made it the perfect candidate for an off-shoot colony. With the help and guidance of House Arkoh, this successful Arkanian colony was established in the hopes of revitalizing the ancient bloodline and staving off extinction. The Royal Family of House Arkoh, almost exclusively comprised of Arkanian off-shoots, worked diligently along with the Trade Federation to re-establish a dying culture. In the northern wastes of Hassaria IV large statues dot the landscape slowly building up in grandeur and scale until reaching a large and pyramidal structure of an ancient temple, which currently serves as the Royal Palace for the House. This part of Hassaria IV is avoided by much of the local populace due the unnaturally twisted landscape and impossible ice spires. The perceived corruption is attributed by many to be the result of a dark side nexus residing at its the center.

Cities and Locales
Hassaria IV (3,3)- Arkanopolis
Arkanopolis is centered snugly in the middle of the planet, built on the top of glacial ravines. The planet's toxic atmosphere is kept in check by the atmospheric shield covering the city. The city itself is a representation of Arkania's old capital Adascopolis, though many buildings are more representative of modern Arkanian architecture with a chromimium and electrum style exterior finish. Harsh angles of traditional Sith architecture is replaced with smooth flowing cylindrical spires, and domed roofs. Several adventurous structures can be seen hanging over the icy cliffs, while others are built into the cliff side itself, extending down several stories. Many buildings sport colored glass with aqua and violet being the usual colors of choice. With the extreme cold, traditional single person reptilian mounts are not often seen. Instead many locals choose to import banthas and tauntauns, while the occasional official can be seen lounging atop a Fambaa. Locals are not often found lingering on the streets, but quickly move to their destinations, bundled up in wampa fur lined coats with portable heating units strapped to their sides. A large number of bridges gap the intertwining ravines, naturally creating sectioned districts for the local populace.
While not the geographical center of the city, the 1st district is home to The Semper Institute of Medicine and Science, and is the major draw of the city. Citizens from across the system flock to the institute to be trained as doctors and scientists. It is from here that House Arkoh draws its best scientists and practitioners to work on the cloning facilities hidden underneath the royal palace miles away to the north. One semester a year, a course on Living Science is taught by Prince Semper, who's medical degree and mastery of alchemy provides any student lucky enough to attend the foundations for work in the field of Arkanian genetics.
The 2nd district is home to the growing Offshoot population. Where in the past Arkanian's were shunned from entering their home world's capital, here their housing is not only provided, but they are given an entire ward in which to live exclusively from the other races. While many believe this type of racial exclusion was the original problem with Arkania, on Hassaria IV few seem to mind.
The last district is home to the various other races who call Arkanopolis home. Large apartment buildings dot the urban setting, along with the usual amenities of grocery stores, restaurants, and luxury items. Unlike the sprawling street markets of New Sadow, most stores are housed inside large spired shopping malls, as the cold prevents anything but the usual street traffic from passing by.
With the royal palace a few miles away, little security is placed within the city. The typical Massassi constables dot the street corners and patrol the back allies to make sure all is safe and that the citizens of Arkanopolis are behaving. A small contingent of Reclamation Corp. troopers can be found on the bridges leading into the 2nd district, to provide protection to one of the Houses most valuable assets.
