Div Mac is a retired veteran of the Trade Federation who rose from Logistics pilot to Director of Logistics in just three years. A recipient of both the Medal of Loyalty and the Interior Veteran award, founding leader of the Outlawz flight team, and champion of the Year 12 Summerfest Pod Race, he is remembered by members of the old guard as one of the Federation's heroes.

History

Early Life

Div was born in Coronet on Corellia, the youngest child and only son of Geo and Sara, with two older sisters, Maeln and Gana. His mother worked two jobs to keep the family afloat. A heavyset child, Div was bullied through much of his schooling, and learned early that backing down from a bully only invites worse. As a young man he hung around the local spaceports, earning credits doing odd jobs for traders and pilots, some of which landed him in trouble with security.

Logistics Pilot

Div's first official job was with the Trade Federation as a Logistics pilot in the Ministry of the Interior. He took to it immediately, and made many good friends from whom he learned the trade. He flew with the Rocket flight team under Flight Team Officer Augustine Phiro, one of the largest teams of its era, which also counted future Duceroy Marco Salo among its pilots.

Flight Team Officer

Div went on to lead his own flight team as Flight Team Officer of the Outlawz. Under his command, the Outlawz counted among its pilots Jake Peterson, Rien Lur, Abromus Andregar, Luphi Chi, Marus Halos, Altir Adutorie, Wizz Artson, and a young Dakin Strachan, who would later lead flight teams of his own. The Outlawz name and logo outlived his tenure, and were later revived by Hartroff Parmenion.

On Year 10 Day 235, Div was awarded the Medal of Loyalty for exemplary and loyal service to the Federation, and on Year 11 Day 40 he received the Interior Veteran award for completing a full Tour of Duty in the Ministry of the Interior with distinction.

Director of Logistics

Within three years of joining, Div rose to command the entire Department of Logistics as its Director. Under his command, Logistics pilots such as Jas Nightblade ferried new recruits to Boot Camp on Amorris, among them the young Sephiroth Rhapsodos.

Div never took himself too seriously. Cheerfully clumsy and prone to speaking before thinking, he was the first to laugh at himself, and he was well known for enjoying a beer or whiskey while on the job. He was also an expert pilot of any ship or vehicle. During his time in the Federation, he won the Summerfest Pod Race of Year 12 on the planet Asrat, the most famous of his many swoop and pod racing victories.

Later Years

After stepping down from the Federation, Div spent a couple of years as a freelancer, touring the bars and cantinas of the galaxy. Through The Corellian Society he befriended Lord Tanner McFadden, who invited him to join the Corellian Merchants Guild, an item manufacturing company founded on Year 14 Day 30. Div joined on Year 14 Day 144 as Archduke, the Guild's second-in-command. His titles there included Lord Div Mac, Commander of the Arch-Angel Marines, Champion of Kor Vella, and Archduke of the Council.

Div has since retired from galactic affairs.
