Mirk Eagle is the Executive Officer of the Dorinian Military Corps.
Biography
Mirk was born and raised in one of Ryloth's large underground cities. Her parents were middle-class traders who had five daughters, she being the oldest. As such, Mirk had been working and caring for her sisters and family since at a very young age. When she finished studying, she was to take her parents' business, and they, being fairly old, would retire.
This all changed when a group of pirates raided the city Mirk lived in to capture slaves. They had come before, but Mirk and her family had always been able to hide. This time, they were caught in the local Market, and the pirates managed to kidnap Mirk and her four sisters.
She was taken to their ship, but moments before it took off, Mirk managed to escape with her youngest sister. She found her parents crying and desolate, thinking they had lost everything they had worked for. Upon finding that two of their daughters had escaped, they became very happy, but still grieved for those they had lost. Seeing this, Mirk vowed to wander around The Galaxy in search for her sisters, and return with them. Leaving her young sister to keep care of her parents, she left Ryloth. Her first voyage led her to Corellia, where she spent some months finding out about slave traders and their customs. Having found no information about her sisters, she was forced to find a job as a pilot. She had learnt basic piloting in her home planet, but had to adapt to the softer winds and climate of Corellia. Due to this, she always had a thrilling and dangerous style, performing daring moves and unsafe maneuvers. Due to this, her mates ended up nicknaming her "Eagle", and she stayed with that second name, not telling people her real family name.
After two years in Corellia, she learnt from a smuggler about the pirates which kidnapped her sisters. She was told that a large group of Twilek slaves had been sold to a rich Neimoidian working for the Trade Federation. Thinking that her sisters might be in that group, she planned to rescue them.
She did not want to attract attention, and knew being rash and impetuous would not save her sisters. So, she decided to enroll in a faction close to the Trade Federation, using her piloting skills, to investigate the whereabouts of the Twilek slaves closely.
