Template:CharacterBoxSephiroth Rhapsodos is an Imperator in the Trade Federation's Ministry of Defence, serving as the ministry's academy instructor and the governor of the Glythe Sector.

History

Sephiroth was born on the Mon Calamari home world of Dac. His father, Galcian, would travel the galaxy as a successful trader, while his mother spent all her time looking after him and the family. Sometimes, they travelled the galaxy together and it was Sephiroth’s ambition to become a researcher and a shipwright. He would examine every ship design he could find and spent all his free time at computers. Eventually he came of age and his father allowed him to help around the ship. That all changed however.

On this destined trip, Galcian was in the process of making a huge deal that, if successful, would provide enough credits for Sephiroth to go and study starship design at a top university. Pirates suddenly appeared and attacked the unarmed merchant’s ship. Ambushed, they simply stood no chance. Sephiroth's father and two older brothers grabbed their blasters and settled in for a fight. However, after destroying a few battle droids, a mysterious individual appeared and destroyed the rest. Coming out, after assuming that this stranger had come to save them, they went to thank him.

Sephiroth watched in horror as his brothers were thrown against the walls. The force of the slam shattering their skeletons, and his father stabbed through the heart by a lightsaber. The stranger, some kind of force user, sensed Sephiroth and started towards him. Sephiroth started to run, grabbing his baby sister in his arms, heading for the escape pod. His mother, however, was not so lucky. She was caught by the pirates now flooding onto the ship. The escape pod was ejected, but not before he saw her dragged away.

The pirates opened fire on the escape pod as it descended into Varno’s orbit in the Glythe system, and, his little sister did not escape the resulting crash. Distraught and filled with hatred, Sephiroth focused all his efforts on reconstructing the communications device on the escape pod. Eventually he was found by the Trade Federation. Instead of joining up with the Techno Union, their ship production faction, he instead joined the military. He underwent intensive training and graduated as a stronger, far more dangerous Mon Calamari than when he went in.

He has since been performing missions for the Trade Federation military, honing his skills at every available opportunity, practicing his swordplay, and hoping he can gain the advantage over the force user, whoever he was, who murdered his family. Finally to have his revenge so the memory of his family will finally be able to rest in peace. With this in mind he harbors a burning hatred for any and all who use their powers, be they supernatural or otherwise, to harm or dominate others. Though he still tinkers with computers and ships wherever he goes, he merely awaits the day when he feels as if he can return to his passion, when his conscience allows him to rest and lay down his blades for good. Until then however, he will travel the galaxy, be it on a Trade Federation mission or a private adventure, trading and keeping his scanners open for any trace of pirates and the one responsible.
