Solitudous is a desert on the northernmost island of Taanab. It is called the "Desert Jewel" and it had the reputation of a tropical paradise since before the Trade Federation began development of the planet in earnest. While many adventurers are drawn to the arid and rocky desert regions north of the settlements, many more vacation or live in the many luxury resorts that dot the famous beaches. Even the Trade Federation Viceroy is known to be among the many who frequent its sunny retreats.
