GL-4
The GL-4 rank is the highest rank in the Trade Federation and has a salary of 20 million credits. This rank is reserved for the Viceroy.
GL-3
The GL-3 rank is the second-highest rank in the Trade Federation and has a salary of 15 million credits. it is held by the Duceroy and the Regent, should one be appointed.
GL-2
The GL-2 rank is the highest ministerial rank in the Trade Federation and has a salary of 10 million credits. It is used universally as the rank of Minister and member of the Cabinet.
GL-1
The GL-1 rank is the lowest ministerial rank in the Trade Federation and has a salary of 5.8 million credits. It is used by most ministries as the rank of Deputy Minister, with several notable exceptions:

Trade Federation Government - Regional Governor
HC-2
The HC-2 rank has a salary of 5 million credits. The highest of the high command ranks, it is used by most departments as the rank of Department Director, with several notable exceptions:
Department of Justice - Chief Justice
Department of External Affairs - Ambassador
Trade Federation Government - Sector Governor
Federation Security Service - FSS - General
Department of the Navy - Fleet Admiral / Admiral
HC-1
The HC-1 rank has a salary of 4.6 million credits. The first of the high command ranks, it is used by most departments as the rank of Deputy Director, with several notable exceptions:

Trade Federation Government - Governor
Federation Security Service - FSS - Lieutenant General
Department of the Navy - Vice Admiral
C-5
The C-5 rank has a salary of 4.1 million credits. It is used by all departments (barring the Department of Justice) under multiple titles:

The E-1 rank is Cadet, and is assigned to new recruits still in training for the Department of Admissions. The rank's salary is 0 credits, as the position is only temporary and usually lasts shorter than one month. This rank level is used by only one department: Department of Admissions.
