Started off in the galaxy as a member of the Rebel Alliance Navy. Soon becoming tired of being at a post as apose to seeing the galaxy, Dev later joined Nebular as an explorer. Eventually, though, long trips in hyperspace wore off in novelty. Looking for a bit of excitement, Dev Nul joined the Black Sun Navy, at that time under the command of Corbin Esco. Finding Corbin's leadership to be worth following, Dev followed Corbin to the Trade Federation when Corbin became Viceroy. After the retirement of Jack Ryan, Dev Nul became Chief of Security of the Trade Federation. Dev stayed in the position for many years, right through the Federations transition from company to government, where his title was changed to Secretary of Defense.
With the creation of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, many CMGs were created by the Trade Federation, and competent leaders were required to lead them. Dev Nul became the first President of the Commerce Guild mining company. Once the Commerce Guild was on it's feet, Dev handed over the reigns to Kurner Dahtar, who lead Commerce Guild in an era of unprecedented growth, and rejoined the Trade Federation as a Duceroy.
With the official retirement of Corbin Esco, a new Viceroy was needed. For the months between official Viceroys, Dev Nul became the interim Viceroy. Once Horley Cyan became the new Viceroy, Dev Nul and some of his comrades decided that after their many years in the Trade Federation, it was time to retire themselves, and to live it up.
And thusly, Dev Nul became the first Pimproy in the galaxy, pimping the galaxy piece by piece, day by day.
It was inevitable though, that the Empire would try to eventually break the Trade Federations neutrality and seize the Glythe Sector. The Empire tried to strong arm the Trade Federation into submission, however the newly returned Viceroy Corbin Esco refused to be pushed over, and the Empire declared war on the Trade Federation. Returning to the Trade Federation as Lord General of the Droid Armies, Dev Nul took up his place in the defense of the Trade Federation once more.
After the Empires defeat at the hands of the Trade Federation at the Battle of Corthor, and the Empire's loss of all meaningful grip in the Glythe Sector, Dev Nul returned to retirement.
Something was missing though. With his retirement from the Trade Federation, which had for many years been his home and sole reason for being a part of the galaxy, Dev found himself without a purpose. Never being one to sit idle, he went out in search of inner peace. It was shortly after this search began that he stumbled across The Order of Kampar. After reading through the uncovered scrolls of Kampar, and asking many questions of the prophets who guide the group, Dev came to realise Kampar is more of a relationship with Kampar himself, and a way of life, than a religeon in the traditional sense. This, of course, appealed to Dev, as he had always been anything but conventional. After some more research, Dev decided that in order to fully understand galactic truth and have true inner peace, he would have to join the Order of Kampar, and learn as much as he could. Dev joined the ranks of the the Order of Kampar and soon rose to the position of Deacon. Working now on the Trials of Brotherhood, Dev hopes to one day stand amoung the Prophets of Kampar, and lead others to the truth and peace that he has attained.
