Lekua VII is a remarkable gas giant. It is one big turmoil of different gasses in a constant chemical reaction. Several solid elements hurled into the atmosphere cause this planet to change its colour from time to time. Most prominent is the green coil that seems to be wrapped around the planet in a spiral. In ancient times primitive civilizations on the nearby Lekua III believed that this was some sort of highway for their gods. When the green coil was not visible they held ceremonies and performed dark rites untill it returned. These rituals incorporated barbaric sacrifices and other, long gone methods connected to superstition.
The green effect is actually caused by clouds with elements of copper in it. When these clouds rise up and hit the atmosphere, the rotation of the planet causes them to be stretched and drawn out in an enormous spiral. When visiting this system, Lekua VII is definitely a must-see.
