Akeeg Viawei

Akeeg Viawei did not have an exceptional beginning. He was not born to an influential family in the Core Systems, nor did he experience a defining family tragedy. Instead, Akeeg spent his early years with his family on a backwater world known only by the standard designation assigned by its discoverer. The planet lay just close enough to the shipping lanes to serve as an occasional stop for cargo vessels to refuel and empty their refuse holds when they missed one of the major depots.

With little else to occupy his time, Akeeg was drawn to the small starport. He often imagined stowing away aboard a freighter and setting off on adventures among the stars, only to be pulled back to reality whenever his family called him home. Upon coming of age, he convinced a Trade Federation captain to hire him as a cargo laborer, where he spent his days loading and stacking freight in the ship's hold.

Akeeg quickly distinguished himself through his work ethic and eagerness to learn. Over time, he rose from cargo laborer to pilot within the Trade Federation, flying transport missions throughout Trade Federation space. During this period, he came under the mentorship of Minwolf Kandar, who recognized both Akeeg's dedication and his habit of asking thoughtful questions. Impressed by his potential, Minwolf offered to train him as a System Manager.

As Akeeg worked alongside his mentor, Minwolf revealed the existence of the Evocati Order, the secretive organization of Force users within the Trade Federation. Believing Akeeg to be Force-sensitive, Minwolf tested him and confirmed his suspicions.

From that point forward, Akeeg divided his time between his System Manager training and his instruction in the ways of the Force. Under Minwolf's guidance, he developed his abilities sufficiently to earn formal induction into the Evocati Order. After extensive study and training, he entered the Force Cave, overcame its trials, and recovered the crystals needed to construct his own lightsaber. | Shortly after completing his lightsaber, Akeeg's career took another significant turn. Minwolf was appointed Director of Resources, leaving the position of System Manager of Dalcretti vacant. Akeeg was selected to succeed his mentor in the role.

As Sysman of Dalcretti, Akeeg oversaw the continued development of the system in order to meet the growing resource demands of the Trade Federation. When Minwolf was later promoted to Minister of State, Akeeg began reporting to the new Director of Resources, Rick Stormchaser. During this period, he assisted with the largest undertaking of his tenure so far: Operation Dalcretti.

Operation Dalcretti sought to transform the gas giant Dalcretti VI into a functional, income-producing world for the Trade Federation. Akeeg personally supervised the loading of the massive Mammoth-class Heavy Haulers responsible for transporting raw materials across Trade Federation space and coordinated closely with the Ministry of the Interior to ensure the project's rapid and efficient completion.

Following the success of Operation Dalcretti, Akeeg resumed his regular duties as Sysman. His performance eventually drew the attention of Trade Federation leadership. When Rick Stormchaser announced his retirement as Director of Resources, Akeeg was selected to be his successor.

Recognizing the scale of his new responsibilities, Akeeg accepted the appointment with the goal of not only maintaining the steady flow of resources throughout the Trade Federation but also strengthening and modernizing the Department of Resources.

Today, Akeeg Viawei serves as both the Director of Resources for the Trade Federation and the Sysman of Dalcretti. Outside of his administrative responsibilities, he continues to study the Force as a member of the Evocati Order, seeking to further refine his abilities.
