Trade Federation Market
Created around Year 14, by Ted Winner and Tanez Kalrade, the Trade Federation Market is a galaxy-spanning trading platform on which sole traders, companies, governments, or small groups can buy, list, and bid on wares of any kind. It is one of two such major networks in the galaxy and features products from some of the galaxy’s most famous corporations and traders.
Whilst the Trade Federation and its nationalized corporations list their own products, those groups which are registered licensees of the Trade Federation also feature some of the most sought after goods listed on the market.
The market that we know today was released in Year 23 Day 154. Announced by Ted Winner, a team consisting of Dreks Selmur, Kaire Nat-Sa and Ted Winner with art from Kaire Nat-Sa, Jacob Jansen and Grimaldus Helbrecht and server administration work by Olwin Froon. V4 Release news article.

Communication
Communication is based on the request of the shop, seller, or otherwise specified in each listing. The user is responsible for looking for the proper contact method and address. DMs sent to Department of Trade personnel regarding listings of other people will not be responded to due to lack of time. Order Messages are recommended as the preferred method when an order has been placed, as the system will notify all parties clearly when one is submitted.
All users registered on the TFM website accept that any form of discrimination is forbidden. Furthermore, the TFM actuates a PG-13 communications policy, and all users are expected to exercise appropriate discretion thereof. Should breaches of those stipulations occur, the Department reserves the right to discipline the offending accounts. Users should report any such situations to the Director of Trade directly or through the Administrative request system, and the Department will make a judgement as to the extent(if any), of the breach.
Updates
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change whenever necessary. Updates will be announced via the news announcement or article portions of the site. Users are responsible for looking for the changes or inquiring if they are affected.
Access
The Trade Federation Market (TFM) is a trading platform run by the Trade Federation`s Department of Trade (DoT). TFM is open to all not presently banned in the Star Wars Combine (SWC). It is separate from the DoT, which will use the available features to prevent users on the Trade Federation Blacklist purchasing from TF shops only.
All sales made via the TFM are considered as contracts subject to the TF Code of Commerce. Users which have committed (or attempted) a crime against another user will therefore be dealt with according to the provisions of that code.
Exploits and Modifications to Code
Users who exploit (or attempt to exploit) any flaws with the TFM will be severely punished. Exploiting a flaw includes, but is not limited to, form modification, injection, and any other non-standard acts of use on the TFM (via exploits, bugs, or links etc.). Users who initially discover a flaw are expected to disclose them in the proper location with details on how they came to discover the flaw. Users who can reasonably be expected to have seen notice of a flaw who utilize such a flaw themselves outside the scope of regular use will be subject to the punishments listed below. In short, we expect users to follow SWC`s Golden Rule while using the TFM.
Such incidents will be investigated by the TFM team, and users found guilty will face punishments up to (and including) the removal of citizenship, suspension of accounts, or a total ban from the TFM.
Customer and Seller Responsibilities
It is both the customer`s responsibility that they abide by both these Terms and Conditions as well as the Terms of the seller (individual, faction, NFG, or shop). It is the seller`s responsibility to remain active, be clear with customers, and make sure their terms and conditions do not contradict these Terms and Conditions.
Citizen Responsibilities
Citizens of the Trade Federation are given special discounts on TF products for their personal use. Using these discounts to buy for reselling, either personal, factions, NFGs, or others is strictly prohibited. Any accounts of this should be reported and shall be investigated and may result in banishment or removal of citizenship permanently.
Review Appeals
Reviews may be appealed in certain circumstances only. Those made in error by the reviewer can be reported via the Admin Request System (ARS), and shall be modified accordingly. Requests to modify erroneous reviews of orders older than 30 days can be made, but may or may not be modified. Reviews containing inappropriate material will have the inappropriate material redacted with a notice appended that TFM staff have redacted material deemed to be inappropriate, or which arise from orders in which a crime has taken place can be reported via the ARS. Reviews related to crimes that have occurred will simply be removed from the record.
Reviews will not be modified on any other grounds.
Overrides
Department of Trade Staff will not override any limits, prices, or terms unless they violate these Terms and Conditions. Should any person notice something not acceptable either within reports, terms, listings, or reviews, they should contact Trade Federation staff immediately. A small reward in the form of market points may be applicable.
