Flight Teams are groups of pilots headed by C-rank officers, called Flight Lead Officers. Flight Teams are coordinated by the CFLO and XFLO, who assign pilots to various missions. Flight Lead Officers ensure that the missions are carried out in a timely fashion by their pilots. They offer support to their team, help them with red tape, and offer any guidance they can.

Coordinating Flight Lead Officer

CFLOs directly manage the Flight Lead Officers, and fill-in for a FLO when they are on LoA. They distribute new pilots to the Flight Teams, keep the "Graveyard" up to date, and assist the DDL & DL with ship assignments. CFLOs are the next point of contact when a Pilot's FLO is unavailable. Like FLOs, CFLOs are mentors (to FLOs and other Pilots) and fly the "secret" or more sensitive missions. Min/Max Rank: Chief Officer upon appointment, promoted up to Fleet Captain (C-3 to C-5).

The role of the XFLO is to be the right hand of the CFLO.

FLOs manage a team of 1-5 Logistics Officers. Responsibilities include: mission follow-ups, fielding general questions posed by direct-reports, keeping records of their pilots' activity (active/AWOL/LoA), etc. A FLO is a mentor to his direct reports, but still flies missions as a Logistics Officer does (though these may be "secret" or more sensitive missions). Min/Max Rank: Commander upon appointment, promoted up to Chief Officer.
