Although dominated for most of its early history by Neimoidians, the Trade Federation now welcomes recruits from all races and walks of life. The Federation is one of the most talented and diverse organizations in the galaxy, and those qualities are reflected in its high profits and high salaries. The Federation has a long history of technological achievement, and is fully committed to innovation, technological progress and implementation of new ideas. In addition to this, the Federation is still steeped in its commercial roots, delivering basic and luxury goods to billions of clients galaxy-wide and generating prosperity for its citizens on hundreds of planets. Thus the Trade Federation enjoys a variety of cultural contributions and traditions.

Culture and the Arts

Culture is a way of life of a group of people - the behaviors, beliefs, values, and symbols that they accept, generally without thinking about them, and that are passed along by communication and imitation from one generation to the next.

Culture includes the elements that characterize a particular sentients' way of life. Such as language, traditions, religious beliefs, philosophies, customs, arts, sciences, and so on. There are several Homeworlds contained within Federation Territory each with their own unique cultures and histories. Homeworlds:

The languages spoken within the Federation are myriad, ranging from Galactic Basic, to Neimoidian, to Shyriiwook.

Federation Ledger

The Federation Ledger is the Trade Federation's own news outlet, distributed to all citizens to keep them abreast of all ongoings within and without the Federation. Past issues can be reviewed here. After a hiatus, the Ledger issued it's first issue Year 26 Day 263. This has been referred to by some as the Trade Federation's Cultural Renaissance of Year 26!

Events, Socials and Morale

Personnel activities are an important part of the day-to-day life in the Trade Federation. The Morale team makes sure that the life of the Federation's members is full of entertainment and never dull.

Federation Library

The Federation Library is the cornerstone of Federation History, Lore and knowledge. This is maintained by the Library team.

Art Museum

As part of ensuring the history of the Trade Federation is maintained, alongside the Trade Federation Library, the Trade Federation Art Museum was opened in Tanaab City. The museum is home to all manner of wondrous items, such as holoimages of those who came before us; past Viceroys, and ministers. As well as historical livery of the Federation and it's respective nationalised factions. The museum can be visitied here
