History
Early Life
Metly Onyx was born into obscurity on the planet Dorin, in the Fakir Sector. After several years spent at the Dorin Academy, in which he learned not only the art of warfare, but also the ability to attempt to control the mind as well. One day, Metyl was summoned before the Monarchy and informed that a local Guardian had been watching his progress and was prepared to sponsor him as a Kel Dor noble. The interview went well, and at one point seemed that his appointment to Guardian was all but approved. Preparations were made and celebrations planned. However final background checks on family lineage determined that during a period of turmoil on Dorin, an ancestor had opposed the new reigning Monarchy in battle and the application was immediately quashed.
Not wishing to offend his ancestry, Metyl did not oppose the decision and left Dorin with the intention of returning with armed forces to resume the fight that had caused him to be deemed unworthy.
Wandering Through the Factions
His first employment was somewhat due to a personal joke where he applied for and was accepted into Onyx Excavations as a recruit. The Leader, Pixellor Xess, favored the somewhat young Kel Dor's loyalty and soon promotions and responsibilities followed. Things went well for some time, and after several months of hauling raw materials for the faction engine it looked like a career could be made. However, changes to the company structure soon left Metyl seeking other employment.
While the opportunity for change was present, an application was sent to Silverhelm Entertainment Media security division. It was good honest work if not somewhat tedious, but laid the foundation for some great experience in the field of security, allowing him to test what he had learned from his original training at the academy on Dorin. Eventually the monotony of scanning got the better of Metyl, and the decision was made to seek employment where he could fully devote himself towards mastering his abilities and also pursue a meaningful career.
A New Home at Baktoid Armour Workshop
His search ended with Baktoid Armour Workshop under the command of Gadon Trammer. There he began working and was quickly promoted from Cadet to Executive Officer and thanks to his great work he reached Commanding Officer. After some time Metyl reached the position of Vice President, but even after that he had room for one more achievement when long time CEO Gadon Trammer left. Metyl graciously accepted the reins of Baktoid as CEO and still holds its top position to this date.
