As some of the only members of Arkanian society in the wider galaxy, it is our strongest desire to bring our people back to galactic prominence through the use of genetic engineering and cloning. Founded on Arkania during the rule of the Sith, the House is still to this day strongly influenced by ancient Sith culture, primarily through its caste system. House Arkoh desires to revitalize Sith culture and bring it to the galactic forefront.

Synopsis

House Arkoh is a House of scholars and explorers, individuals who aren’t satisfied with leaving the unknown where it is, individuals who will go to any length to uncover the truth that history has lost. It is a House of diplomats and warriors, sentients who use their skills for the defense of others, be it with their swords or tongues. It is a House that welcomes engineers and scientists, skilled laborers who work diligently to re-create the past, while at the same time propagating the future.

History

House Arkoh was one of many Royal houses founded on Arkania during Sith occupation more than seven thousand years ago. The members of House Arkoh were charged by the Empire with the creation and governorship of Veeshas Tuwan, the greatest Sith library in history. As the library grew exponentially, so did House Arkoh’s power on Arkania. With the destruction of the Sith Empire and library by the republic, House Arkoh found itself members of an old regime and those who were not killed defending the library were forced into hiding. Throughout the ages, descendants of House Arkoh would attempt to rebuild the house, but anti Sith sentiments stayed strong throughout the ages. The last attempt happened nearly two hundred years ago, and ended with the self imposed exile from Arkania by House Arkoh’s last surviving member. One hundred and forty-one years later, Con Semper re-founded the House, taking on the role of Perero (Honored Elder).

Con Semper

With the re-establishment of the Avance House System within the Trade Federation, Con saw an opportunity to restore his family as they once were millennia ago. Calling upon his family members and trusted friends, House Arkoh petitioned for the use of the Hassaria System. With a general reluctance to allow a family with Sith ties to control a Federation System, the petition was finally approved. In Year 16 the House was officially re-founded.

Con's wife, Areagla Loomis, a force sensitive Squib and renowned beastmaster, was given the title of Grand Duchess and the honor of ruling by his side. As a pair of force sensitive leaders, learned in the ways of the Sith, their reign would be powerful and unopposed. The title of Duke was bestowed to Con’s son, Tiberius Semper, a rogue scientist from Arkania, who was also given the solemn duty of protecting one of Hassaria’s five worlds. Onasha Katr, the augmented clone of a famous Jedi master and Con’s granddaughter, was also given one of Hassaria’s worlds to watch over, and with it the title of Duchess. With the royal family established, Con could begin the legitimate rule of House Arkoh.

However, he still needed strong men and women to serve the House, ensuring its lasting presence. Being unable to imagine such an endeavor without his friend Paul Luz, Con requested the aid of his fellow scholar and historian to oversee the Zuguruk class and to help him build the new world of his dreams. Lastly, Con called on Jaxik Seko, a relatively new acquaintance but a man that Con had seen all the ancient traits of the Massassi in. Offering him the position of Massassi Ari, Con was assured that the House’s new home would be well defended.

Structure / Organization

House Arkoh Royal Family

The Royal Family is a direct link to the ancient Arkanians and the Sith Empire. Ruling over the Kissai, Massassi, and Zuguruk Castes, the Royal family oversees all of the Hassaria System. Members of the Royal Family are typically force sensitive, further adding to their right to rule.

Kissai Caste

The Kissai caste is comprised of the noble and intelligent scholars, diplomats, and priests of House Arkoh. Dedicating themselves to the pursuits of the mind, the Kissai are often seen gathered around their ancient texts, long robes gathered up as they trace line after line with their practiced fingers. The most intelligent of the three castes, they use their knowledge to advance the House and the Hassaria system. Among their varied disciplines they dedicate themselves wholly to their field seeking perfection through the mind.

Massassi Caste

The Massassi caste is comprised of the fearsome and loyal warriors who devote their lives to the ancient arts of combat. The urge to surpass their greatest feats is insatiable. Ever striving for improvement, the Massassi are formidable members of House Arkoh and given the honor of serving as the Royal Guard. Charged with keeping peace within the Hassaria System, the Massassi Ari leads the caste of warriors in this infinite endeavor.

Zuguruk Caste

The skilled members of the Zuguruk Caste are in charge of all matters of production and infrastructure throughout the Hassaria System. Hardworking contractors, engineers, and agricultural specialists swell the Zuguruk ranks, making it the largest of the three caste systems. It is through their work that House Arkoh will prosper and maintain economic stability. Charged with such exacting labor, the Zuguruk also understand the importance of leisure better than the Kissai, and embrace it more regularly than the Massassi.

Other Information

Veeshas Tuwan

With the founding of House Arkoh, the first major project was completed by the Zuguruk and Kissai Castes. The House had a vision of recreating one of the galaxies greatest libraries, Veeshas Tuwan. Lost to time, House Arkoh would see its revival and continue the patronage they once had over it.

Project Off-Shoot

Being one of the few Arkanian Off-shoots in the galaxy, Con longed to bring his people back to prominence. His past work with cloning in Avance gave him hope that his dream could be achieved. Giving his full support to House Arkoh’s geneticists, a method of transforming volunteers into half and quarter Arkanians was developed through the use of an engineered virus that mirrored the one found on Derra.

House Arkoh's Original Crest

As well, Using Con’s own DNA, Arkanians could be grown in the lab, facilitating the first generation of a renewed species. Dubbed Project Off-shoot, The experiment was a success, producing more than one-hundred viable Arkanian Off-shoots in which the future of Con’s dreams lie.

Crest of House Arkoh

The original crest of House Arkoh was an Arkanian Dragon with wings spread. With many other houses picking native animals, House Arkoh chose the dragon as its sentience lent to the idea of being superior over the other houses. The iconography would serve them well in later years when they created Veeshas Tuwan. The dragon would come to represent Knowledge, and the power House Arkoh possessed over it. The current crest of House Arkoh is the mark of lordship bestowed to Con Semper by the dark council of the failed Sith Order.
