This large temperate planet is home to a vast array of lifeforms though is currently uninhabited. Volcanic islands and polar caps to the south make the southern hemisphere quite inhospitable but the northern landmass is the ideal place for human settelment. Large open areas of arable land means a large population capacity and a large ocean means a large fish population to support food production. Vast forests to the east would provide much building material as well as possible caches of rare minerals.
