Lekua VI is a very interesting planet, geologically spoken, but that sums up just about all its positive features. The surface can change instantly: glaciers can sometimes suddenly melt away by vulcanic activity underneath, causing big holes to appear out of the blue. Even when on an underground which seems to be solid rock, cave-ins can occur with tremendous earthslides. Clouds of toxic fumes, emanating from the vulcanoes, are lethal to all who get surprised by these silent killers. The parts where vegetation exists can sometimes spontaneously combust into flames by heat building up under the surface. Even in stable periods the outbursts of vulcanic ashes can cause serious problems. Navigational equipment malfunctions and breathing apparatus can not withstand the microscopically small particles and leaves those species depending on it without a chance.
Valuable gems could very well exist here, but conditions make exploration extremely difficult. The legendary Star of Lekua, a priceless stone, when existing at all, could only have been formed here. Since all trace has been lost of this gem, no proof can be presented about the origin of the Star.
