The Federation Security Service (FSS) acts as the law enforcement agency of the Trade Federation and public liaison for all Trade Federation security matters. The department manages shield access for all Trade Federation territory as well as external access to Federation property. Additionally FSS assists the Navy by commanding a task force and is responsible for protection of assigned Federation territory. As of recent, the department has expanded its field of expertise to include protection of Cabinet members including the Roys, when military escort is required.
