Synopsis
House Vornskr is a collection of like-minded souls dedicated to the defense of the Federation. While this is officially the domain of the Ministry of Defense, the House offers a banner to which all Federation Members can apply their energy and skills in support of overall Federation defense. The House will share concepts and ideas that will improve each Members’ ability to protect themselves, and will support each other in their desire to be prepared for any actions by outsiders to weaken the Federation as a whole.

The founding of House Vornskr was not a peaceful event, it was mired in bloodshed and destruction.
In year 16 day 193 a wave of devastation and suffering swept through Bakura Valley,a natural disaster of epic proportions struck without warning resulting in a massive sentientarian (humanitarian would be wrong because of different species so I invented a word....) crisis.
The sudden onset of this disaster did not go unnoticed and various elements of the FSS and defense fleets gathered to aid and investigate. While conducting scans of the affected areas Belloq Tull of the FSS, and a powerful force user, received strong visions showing similar events occurring on the planet of Taspan. After accessing numerous intelligence resources, he concluded the visions had yet to pass, and if he was receiving them then surely there was a way to prevent it. Without any hard evidence to support this fact Belloq decided there was no way an official action would be sanctioned, however a private endeavor was still possible.
Gathering the resources he could muster and convincing the few officers in the defense fleets near by to assist, Belloq and his new comrades John Gunn, Jhanu Kaizhuu and Jasko Faren, veteran of the defense forces all, set course for Taspan, enlisting the services of a Naval Production pilot en-route to get the party to the planet without suspicion.
Upon arrival to the planet The group and their followers started to investigate a number of seismic anomalies. However it was the chance discovery of an entrance to a facility by the group that led to the events known locally as the Night of Shattered Skies.
Gathering their soldiers and followers and guided by Belloq's visions the small company stormed the facility. The house itself refuses to comment on what transpired beneath the earth, but what is known is that 30 minutes after they entered the planet was racked with earthquakes and lightning storms that became progressively worse. 6 hours after descending, the remains of the group solely consisting of what is now referred to as the House's council emerged battered and bloodied. The public records of the house state that “In those desperate dark hours there were no heroes, only beasts. We fought with honor, we fought like warriors, but we still fought and we still killed. This is our burden and our duty”. Soon after without the man power to keep them out, the local press of the planet entered the facility and produced the only known photographs of the interior and recovered some files. Though the house answers all inquiries with a polite “No comment”, the files show the facility was being used by persons unknown to develop a gravitation altering weapon of potential cataclysmic proportions. However nothing further can be learned as the House which formed soon after, took possession of the facility as its custodians and now use it as the heart of their operations throughout Federation space.
The House itself was formed after the events, in a rare example of a complete file released by the House, the reasons behind the formation are stated in their fullness. Though like most such files after a short period it was redacted once more, however it was available long enough to public scrutiny for a number of third parties to document it. It appears that after the events the Council decided to found an organization to help defend the federation against all threats. Due to their reliance on the Force to guide them they took the moniker Vornskr, after the deadly predator which hunts with a similar method and Named Belloq as their Seer to guide them in their task. In fact they have drawn heavily on their chosen name, in order to describe themselves. “We are not the heroes of the federation, we are the beasts that dwell within. We are territorial, aggressive, and woe unto those who would harm our pack-mates or defile our homes”, a quote by Councillor XXXXX.
Today the House draws heavily on the ministry of defense for its membership, however anyone willing to defend the federation and possessing the spirit of a warrior is welcome within its walls.

Cultural Information
The Mind is the first weapon of choice for Members of House Vornskr. Therefore, an education is of paramount importance. This would be not just an education in military subjects such as piloting skills, space combat or ground tactics, but also the many different cultural aspects of the various species of the Galaxy. A deep grounding in politics and history, both galactic and Federation, is also warranted.
The Body is the second weapon of choice for Members of House Vornskr. As such, the House provides significant training for its Members and their chosen troops. The training revolves around patrolling and creature hunting at this point. It is rumored that the training will involve clandestine operations to infiltrate and destroy pirate cells that are threatening the Federation.
Within House Vornskr, all Members are equals. There are no ranks among Members, aside from the Council: each is here for the same purpose. The House will be led by the Founders’ Council, which upon the House’s creation will have six Founding Members.
The House will maintain a Museum of significant items gathered by Members in their roles as Defenders of the Realm. The House will conduct wargames (RPs) to simulate future combat scenarios, as well as hosting occasional training seminars to brief its Members on current and future military trends.
