Task Group
Task Groups within the Ministry of Defense make up part of the overall Joint Defense Fleet. Like the Ministry of the Interior's Flight Teams, each Task Group is coordinated and lead by a Commanding Officer of O-rank, or higher, and undertake the missions set by the Minister of Defense and the Fleet Admiral.
Task Groups
Fleet Admiral
The Fleet Admiral directly manages the TGCOs, and fill-in for a TGCO when they are on LoA. They distribute new pilots to the Task Groups. The Fleet Admiral is the next point of contact when a Pilot's CO is unavailable. Like COs, the Fleet Admiral is a mentor (to COs and other Pilots) and fly the more sensitive missions.
Commanding Officer
COs manage a team of Naval Officers. Responsibilities include: mission follow-ups, fielding general questions posed by direct-reports, keeping records of their pilots' activity (active/AWOL/LoA), etc. A CO is a mentor to their direct reports, but still flies missions as a Naval Officer does (though these may be more sensitive in nature).
